So you’ve been thinking about learning how to use a camera? Photography doesn’t have to feel overwhelming or overly technical. Whether you’re picking up a camera for the first time, returning after a long break, or simply looking to refine your skills, my photography classes are designed to help you feel confident, relaxed, and inspired.
I’m based in Barcelona and originally from the UK, and I offer both online classes and in-person sessions for those living in or visiting Barcelona.
My aim is simple: to give you the knowledge and tools to take photographs you’re genuinely proud of.
You’ll learn how your camera really works and how to use it creatively — whether you’re shooting with a digital camera, a film camera, or even just your phone.

My Photography Background
I hold a degree in Contemporary Photography from the University for the Creative Arts in Rochester, UK. After graduating, I began my career as a photojournalist, where I learned how to work under pressure and capture moments quickly as they unfold.
Alongside this, I assisted a food photographer for several years and developed a strong understanding of lighting and composition.
My work has been featured in The Guardian and other national newspapers, and I’ve been fortunate to travel extensively, photographing people and cultures around the world. I first picked up a camera at the age of 14, when my dad handed me one in Devon and told me to “shoot into the light.” I never stopped.
I’m now based in Barcelona, Spain, where I work as a photographer and educator, teaching both online and in-person photography classes.

My online photography classes are ideal if you want flexibility or prefer learning from home. Sessions are held live via Zoom and are tailored to your experience level and goals — whether you’re interested in portraits, weddings, lifestyle photography, or personal projects.
Online classes are available as one-to-one sessions or small group classes and may include:
