From the very first phone call I had with Alastair and Jack, I knew their wedding was going to be something special—and I wasn't wrong. Set against the backdrop of a beautiful medieval castle and surrounded by stunning architecture, their venue was the perfect setting for such an unforgettable celebration.
There were so many memorable moments, including Jack proudly waving a sword during the speeches, which certainly brought plenty of laughter and made for some fantastic photographs. I also loved using creative flash lighting throughout the day to enhance the atmosphere and tell their story in a unique way.
I even made friends with the incredibly talented makeup artist, who did an amazing job helping Alastair look her absolute best. I even came away with a few makeup tips of my own! Thank you both for allowing me to be part of such a wonderful wedding. It was a privilege to capture your celebration, and I wish you both a lifetime of happiness and unforgettable adventures together.
One of my favourite moments was experimenting with off-camera flash on the grand staircase, creating some beautiful and dramatic portraits of the two of them. Throughout the day, it was clear just how much thought and care had gone into every detail, making it an absolute joy to document their wedding in a natural and authentic way.
