A Beautiful Indian Destination Wedding
This beautiful and colourful Indian destination wedding was filled with so much joy, energy and emotion. Nisha & Rishi had such an amazing connection and an effortless aura about them, making them a joy to photograph naturally throughout their wedding day.
You could immediately see how much thought and care had gone into creating their luxury destination wedding. Every detail felt timeless, elegant and beautifully considered, while the atmosphere remained warm and full of life.
One of my favourite moments was when Nisha was challenged to get the ball out of the goblet. When she won, the happiness on her face was priceless. These are the little moments I love looking for when photographing weddings — the genuine reactions and emotions that happen naturally throughout the day.
During the rose-petal throw, I positioned myself behind the couple so I could capture the petals falling around them and create something a little different. I love looking for these unexpected perspectives rather than simply photographing what is happening from the obvious viewpoint.
And, of course, capturing Nisha & Rishi walking up the aisle and seeing the happiness on the faces of their family and friends was incredibly special. These intimate, emotional moments are what make documenting a wedding so meaningful.
